In addition, she is an executive producer & distributor of mainstream content in the digital realm of several high profile talent podcasts and social media channels boasting well over a million views and listeners.
April has been integral in aligning support for key show initiatives among national and affiliate ad sales. She is experienced in developing fully integrated media plans for new business and the advertising brand extensions of television shows and online media content and social media.
As a veteran storyteller, content producer, editor and feature reporter, April has had the opportunity to work with and interview top A-list athletes, fly in F-16 fighter jets, dine with Michelin star Chefs and conduct one on one high profile interviews with names such as Harrison Ford, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Susan Sarandon and many more.
With an intense travel addiction and 3 citizenships (Canadian, U.S. and China), she has shot, edited and hosted food & travel features from Beijing, China to Amalfi Coast, Italy.
During the COVID lockdown, April also spent much of her time as a volunteer Communications Director for a young anti-human trafficking non-profit Uncaged.org, where she was able to guide, build and manage their brand message on all mediums.
April continues to expand her role by working closely with individuals on defining their media look, talent and brand in creating new opportunities in the marketplace.
She also consults with individuals, corporations and non-profits and show producers about social media, branding videos, web series and podcasts.
When not obsessed with creating content, she lives for surfing with her son, near Los Angeles in Ventura, California.
